Super Foods and Juicing

Super foods are so called because they are among the most nutritious food sources to be found on the planet by weight and size. Many have been used as traditional medicines in places such as South America or other far away lands and have been highly sought after due to their amazing properties. Due to modern distribution systems they are nowadays available to us. These are the new wave of nutrition for the 21st century! 
Some of the most popular include Cacao, Barley Grass, Spirulina, Chlorella, Suma, Bee Pollen, Kamu Kamu, Maca, Ashwaganda, Ginseng, Goji Beries, Inca Berries, Hemp etc. Powdered forms can be used to make delicious smoothies.
JUICING is also a highly reccomended method of increasing your intake of vegetables and nutrients. Using organic vegetable juice (the greener the better!) many people are fighting obesity, cancers and many other ailments with great success. It is important to choose a good quality juicing machine to get the most out of the veges

Raw Cacao
Raw cacao is a superfood that has been used for centurys. Cacao was discovered in South America where it was considered as the food of the Gods and so valuable it was used as currency. Raw Cacao contains over 300 identifiable chemical compounds, and is high in magnesium, iron, chromium, tryptophan, and antioxidants. It also contains PEA and anandamide, Dopamine and serotonin. The feel good factor of Cacao, often experienced when eating chocolate is even more prevalent when eating raw cacao as the chemical compounds responsible are not inhibited by dairy or sugar. Though it can be quite stimulating and so is best used sparingly rather than daily. 

Maca is grown high in the Andes at 14,000 ft in very rich soils, so its mineral content is especially high. Also known as Brazilian Ginseng, Suma is really is a heal all and it is known for having a positive healing effect on many states of disease. Suma normalises and regulates the endocrine, nervous, digestive, cardiovascular and immune systems.
Because it is an adaptogen it helps the body tackle stress. It also seems to be good for tackling states of exhaustion in the body, such as chronic fatigue syndrome.
